December Planting Guide

• Not a bad month for a gardener to stay indoors if the weather is cold and wet!
• In mild years, it may be possible to plant peas and broad beans under protection (fleece or grow tunnel)
• Plant garlic
• Continue planting fruit trees and fruit bushes
• Autumn raspberries are now dormant, allowing the canes to be planted
