March Harvesting Guide

• The start of the spring brassica season - purple sprouting broccoli spears and spring greens will be ready this month
• Leeks are also an excellent vegetable to grow for the spring (but choose the variety carefully - some will finish by December)
• Stored vegetables are unlikely to keep for much longer, especially squash and potatoes
• Rhubarb season begins in earnest
